Hey Scotty, moderator Alan here. I have a 2010 Yukon xl 150k miles.
The truck quit pulling, as in no connection from the engine to the rear axle. The problem is intermittent from a standpoint, but more off than on. Transmission checks out fine.
Everything in my head tells me it's an electrical issue. Any chance it can be the transfer case motor encoder? Seems like a logical place since it has electric shift on the case. That thing screws up it goes into neutral and you're not going anywhere...
Let me know....
Thanks!
Well pray it's something like that but you're going to have to find a good Chevy mechanic who knows transmissions and has a dealer transmission scan computer to do bi-directional testing on that one it's not something you could figure out without just wild guessing with parts
