Hello,
My father just replaced his battery last week on his 2010 Honda Pilot. Last night the alarm went off several times. From watching a couple of videos I am guessing they are related. The videos on youtube show how to disconnect the alarm system on older model Pilots. Is there anyone who might know of a video or diagram on how to disconnect a alarm for our 2010 Pilot. I believe its the second generation?

Just pull the plug on the hood latch.

If it isn't aftermarket system they are relatively easy to disable but if it's the factory system as part of the main computer module and you can't really disconnect it unless you're an absolute computer expert and knowno how to bypass it
