My 2010 automatic v6 4.0 mustang needs a transmission replacement. Will I be able to use a 6r80 transmission instead of a re-manufactured mt82? If so what will I need to do the job? If not what transmission should I put in?
You will have to get it tuned or else it won't work correctly.

Why does it need replacing? How many miles?
My car has 220 thousand miles and my car always slipped and jerk. The other day I drove and it and shoot to 5000 rpm’s and didn’t shift to third gear and then it stopped accelerating. This was only putting into drive but when I Manuel shift it can go in to 1st and 2nd gear. I just figured it needs replacing.
