bought a 2010 Scion XB with 144k miles. When first bought the AC occasionally delay starts (the cold air only kick in after half miles of drives or so only after parked for a long period of time, such as overnight, but always instantly kick in after starts car again after stopping at the shopping grocery for half-hour etc)
starting 2021 it's getting worst, it now always delay starts and cold car kick in only after half miles of driven at cold start, but still instantly come on of warm start, checked AC compressor clutch always spins with the AC even at the cold start but just no cold air, also the refrigerant is within specs.
what could the cause of this odd problem?

Realize the way it gets cold is the blend door inside the dash has to move from either fresh heat there or AC air and that system is probably sticking it is a royal pain in the butt to work on so as long as it eventually works I'd leave it alone
