I bought the 2010 Silverado for $8,000 earlier this year from work.  It drives and runs good.  I think I could sell it for around $15-$20,000 here in Knoxville, Tn.  I think I could buy a 2006 to 2012 Tundra for about the same price with around 150,000 miles for a 4x4 and the big 5.7 engine with the full size bed.  Do you have a suggestion of which way to go?  The Silverado doesn't have that stupid 8 valve to 4 valve transition at freeway speed, which is nice, but I don't know anything about the tranny.  I should also say that I probably won't drive it more than 1-2,000 miles a year and it will be parked in a garage, I drive a company truck 95% of the time.  The truck is basically a "just in case truck".  Thank you and welcome to Tennessee!
