- I have a 2010 Toyota Tacoma with 247000 miles on it. The transmission some times up and down shifts hard. There was one time the transmission would not shift into high gear I disconnected the battery rebooted the computer it seems to be working ok for now but it still seems to up and down shift hard sometimes. My question is could it be a computer module or the transmission itself. Thanks I love your you tube videos
