Was driving through the mountains when suddenly my xterra turned off. Pulled over car doesn't start anymore. All lights turn on, radio, etc... the dash is illuminating a car with a key inside of it. Why doesn't my xterra start anymore?

Is the immobiliser symbol flashing? Does it crank at all?
