Hi all:
Lately something seems off with the Yaris. It's made a loud noise when driving shortly after starting up, but today I drove, parked, grabbed food, and then started the car, put it in Reverse, the car started rumbling. No check engine lights. I held the brakes so I wasn't moving, but the rumbling was very noticeable and it was a heartbeat versus constant rumbling. Any ideas?
Different car but I also noticed a rumbling on a cold start a while back in my Mazda CX-3, and it went away with an oil change. I got it second hand so I had no idea how often the previous owner changed the oil.
I'll do an oil change and transmission fluid change soon! I brought it to a mechanic who said they looked under the hood and underneath but no issues. Just to stay alert if it happened again really. Thanks for the input!
