My friend has a 2010 Toyota Yaris 5 speed manual 1.3L engine with 195000kms. There is a rotating creek noise from the left front wheel and when removed the brake pads, the inner pad is thicker compared to outer pad (inner pad is 1.5 times thicker than outer) .Also outer pad ends is worn strangely. Any idea why? and what to be done to rectify this?

Check for road debris and if the rotor and it’s dust shield are touching and making the rotating sound.
Pads look normal. If there’s no complaints with the braking performance, I’d leave them alone.
