2011 AUDI A3 86,000 miles Auto Trans that dies when the car stops. Help

How old are your air and fuel filters?

Your car should have start stop. If the car is completely dying and has to be turned back on you may have a issue with that system. The module for it can be bad , a electrical issue ( it is German after all). It can be something as simple a sticking or faulty relay or a blown fuse.
