2011 Chev 2500 HD with Duramax with 175,000mi and remote start. Hood latch trouble- dash says hood open and turn signal on drivers side mirror lights up etc. also headlights are effected... Sprayed latch with WD 40 and it did okay for several days; however starting give trouble again. So I replace hood latch with a Dorman #820-200 from O'Reilly's Auto parts but that did not fix problem. What should I do??

make sure your hood spacers are adjusted properly
we did adjust the hood spacers and that did not fix the problem
