2011 Chevy Aveo
I limped it home - with fear of it starting on fire. It used to jerk sometimes (transmission cooling thing). I had a Montana van that crapped oil all over the ground - I thought I busted the engine. Turned out to be transmission oil cooling. Fix only $200. Would the same thing have happened to my Aveo?

Maybe. Maybe not.
You need to find the source of the oil to make that determination.
