Scotty,
Love your videos! I have benefitted much from your advice. Thank you!
Might you help me understand why my 2011 Ford Triton v8 Expedition seemingly struggles to start after it has not ran for a few days or longer? It turns over and over, but seems to not get fuel for up to 15 seconds. Once it fires, it runs perfectly and starts with no issues for the rest of the day. Also it may be my imagination, but sometimes I think I smell gas. I've searched and searched but can't find the reason this happens. Help?
Thank you,
Jeremy
Well the first thing to do would be just have your battery load tested if you have a weak battery it can do exactly that because it will not fire correctly raw gas will get an engine when it does start it will be flooded and you'll smell gasoline. Print something that's simple cuz if not it could be a problem with the fuel injection system or with the ignition system but more often it's just something dumb like a weak battery that needs replacing
I had the battery tested, and it came back as a good battery. What would you do now?
