Transmission problem

I have a 2011 Kia Sorento 3.5 L V6 engine that is a sportmatic and an all-wheel drive. Now the transmission I'm not sure if it's gone completely out or if it is the solenoids I flushed it that did not help. It will move and drive but it's like once the car gets warmed up it like stops having any gears whatsoever. Like you have to stop and like cool it off and then it'll drive again and then it just stops with no gears again. Would it be wiser to just sell it as is? Or would it be smarter to try to find a used transmission and replace it? Currently I'm also in the process of moving and Jobs been crazy and also having to pay the rent a car finances are really really tight. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Please help me let me know what I should do thank you.

I suggest you sell the car and get something more reliable.

The fluid could simply be too low and the pump sucks air when hot.  It might look correct when it's cold but transmission fluid is supposed be checked when warmed up to normal operating temperture.  If it doesn't have a dip stick, there's a process to check the correct level.  There's no point taking it to a dealer since it's out of warranty and they charge more unless there's no other shop in town that can do it.

@jdavidm it makes no sense fixing transmissions nowadays. Better gamble and try luck with a used one.
