Found a 2011 Nissan Sentra on fb market for free, she was moving and sad had bad engine
Went to get it for parts.
Come to find out it was just a sensor and starts and runs great, no engine lights, shifts perfect and all fluid look great.
It even came with title,
Are these reliable cars?
Are these reliable cars?
Not particularly, but for free it's hard to complain. Run it until something expensive goes wrong. Unless it has a stick shift the transmission (CVT) is probably near the end at that age and mileage.
What’s better
A 2011 Sentra 2.0 with 190k miles
Or
A 2010 Kia forte with 120k miles 2.0
They're both pretty crappy. Kias are known for oil burning and catastrophic engine failure, though they probably weren't as bad in 2010 as they are today. Nissan is well known for very weak transmissions (CVT). Pick your poison.
Has 188k miles
