So I found a 2011 Toyota Corolla LE with 132,000 miles for $5,500. Barring no major problems, is this a good buy?

I would try to get cheaper.....yes, good vehicle

Private party - $2,000 - $3500. Dealer: $4,500 - $7,000. But depends on the condition, previous usage, smog, registration, and title status, highway miles or city, what part of the country, and a lot more factors.
