2012 Camry Transmission Issue

Scotty, love your videos. Thanks for all the help over the years. My girlfriend drives a 2012 Toyota Camry with 135,000 miles. When shifting into drive there is a significant delay before the power is engaged and you can begin to move forward, doesn't happen in any other gear. Toyota dealership refuses to service the transmission since it's supposed to be good forever. Should we bother having the fluid siphoned out and replaced or should we leave it because it's relatively high mileage?

First, never go to a dealer for any services.  Second, change the fluid and filter now and hope it hasn't gone too long to have damaged the transmission.  There is no such thing as "lifetime" fluid in anything.
