Scotty, I am buying a 2012 civic si 90K miles on it with a clean title. I took it to a mechanic shop and he said the car is in really good condition. I am paying 10900 for it. Is it a good price to pay?
A regular Civic would go for almost half that but the SI is worth more so prices like this are expected. I would do the best you can to haggle, and definitely have a mechanic check it out.
High price but if you like it, get it. Not too many clean ones out there right now.
Thank you guys for your answers...I might buy the car as the dealer is not moving around with the price of the car. And the mechanic I took the car to, say that the car is in excellent condition.
Its a great thing you had a mechanic inspect it. The price is reasonable but I have seen some go for far less.
good price
Thank you for the answers....the dealer is not budging on the price...And this is the only car around my area with a clean title (one owner car too).I live near wichita,KS
Good that you had it checked out by a mechanic. Edmunds guide shows the price range for a 2012 Si sedan $9-12.5k, and for a coupe $8.8-11.3k. Used car prices vary in different parts of the country. The price range Edmunds calculated is for my area, so yours may differ, but it appears it's a decent price.
