Scotty highly recommends the Crown Vic... including its V8... in one of his videos.

@alleyascot
And for good reason

@alleyascot
do you remember the title of the video ?

2012? Thought they ended them in 2011. Good cars tho

@jimbob
you must be thinking about the Grand Marquiz 1975-2011
Crown Vics are 1992-2012
if i’m not mistaken.

I had a 95 Mercury Grand Marquis, loved it.  Sold it with 100K on the ODO and bought a PT Cruiser [horrendous mistake] I wish I had kept the Marquis.  If I could find one with 40K on the ODO I'd buy it.

Very solid and safe cars. 40,000 miles is pretty low, but a ton of crown vics were made so they are not worth a whole lot.

If you don't mind the low in town MPG, they're pretty solid vehicles. Very strong and reliable.

Feul here in saudi arabia is literally cheaper than water
we don’t expect it to stay that way in the next years but heck!!

I drove a 2001 P71 CV for 12 years and and clocked more than 270,000 miles on it before I sold it.  No major issues even though it was an old police car.  The 2012s have many improvement over the one I drove.   I would get another one.
