Hi from Canada !
My rear wiper was wiping away one day while the car wasn't running, I'm not sure how long it was doing this by its self
I hadn't drove it for days before this happened. After fiddling with it ,it stopped and hasn't worked since
We checked the fuses and they look fine, could it be the relay ?

generally either the relay goes bad and stays open to power or the switch itself is gone bad if you don't use this thing much just leave it alone
