I drove the car for around 3 hours, made a pit stop in a gas station, then drove another hour or so. I drove in current Texas heat, and used 5th gear on the way (highway mostly, but there WAS slow traffic for the first hour due to construction).
After the 4 hours or so, I made a stop, then when I tried leaving, I found out that I couldn't get into 5th or reverse. Well technically, I cannot get into 5th anymore, but I think that I COULD initially, but not into reverse. Now neither work.
The (I was told) "shift switch sensor" is broken off with a hole exposed...I was told the oil did not leak from that hole, that it leads to a magnet, not to where the oil is in the transmission. There is a lot of oil under the car, in the driver side, and also inside that box underneath the car. There was no check engine light or temperature light or oil lights (which I was told is because it's a manual transmission, which has no sensors).
Can I get help as to what my problem is here? Thank you.

Well those are basically throw away cars with all that oil under there I'm assuming it leaked out and probably 5th and reverse gear which are close on the transmission of broken inside sad but true they're junky little cars
