I know Scotty is not a fan of Korean cars, but noticed this, and was wondering. It has 120,000 miles on it with a 4 cylinder engine and a auto transmission. Is it worth a look?
Yes
Take it to a decent mechanic or your friend if they are mechanically inclined. $2,000 for a 9 year old car with only 120,000 on it...just based on that...sounds like a "good deal."
Bear in mind that the Accent is at the very bottom of the barrel of a manufacturer not exactly known for quality or longevity even in their more expensive vehicles.
I would pass on it, not worth the potential headaches that can come your way once you own it.
Yeah, I’m going to keep looking. Thank you to everyone.
A pre-purchase visual inspection plus the reading of enhanced diagnostics/mode6/live data is a must. If the codes have been cleared, walk away.
