Hello Scotty, recently purchased an Lexus 2012-IS250c When I ran the scanner on it it gave a P0340 /current $7E8, Camshaft position sensor "A"or single sensor. I did not have an engine warning light and the car seems to be running fine. No skipping or anythinig out of the ordinary. Please help.
Well sometimes if your oil is dirty it can trip that cold. I change your oil and filter. It's been in there for a while. I might find out it won't come back
@scottykilmer I did just change the oiil 2 days ago-warning light had just come on-after I ran scanner) Hopefully that got it. Thanks!
@scottykilmer I ran the scanner again yesterday and that got it. Now I just hope the guy I bought the car from did the maint correctly and didnt just reset the oil warning!
