Hi all,

My battery had recently needed to be jumped on my 2012 Nissan Maxima and now my airbag light is on after jumping my vehicle. All it does is flash. It does not turn off and it was not on before I jumped the vehicle. I scanned it with my scan tool and the code B1015 comes up which says it is the sensor unit. I know the dealership will probably say I will need to replace it but it was working perfectly fine before the jump.

Try disconnecting both battery terminals and tie them together for 5-10 minutes to do a hard battery reset.. see if that helps it’s worth a shot… possible when the battery was replaced it spiked the control unit and damaged it

So the terminals have to make contact with each other for that time?

Yes.. I usually zip tie them together and just leave them for a little bit
