I currently have a 2012 toyota Camry owned it for 10 months got 48,000 miles I was looking at a 2018 hyundai elantra with 6,777 miles. I have a loan of 14,500 on the Toyota should I see if I can switch.
No, keep the Toyota and don't even think about buying an Elantra. Is there a reason why you want to get a different car?
If you are tired of having a good reliable car, go right ahead.
No, do not switch especially if the Toyota Camry has been good to you with little to no issues. The last thing you want to do is switch to a less reliable vehicle, especially if your current car has been dependable. Hyundai quality and long term reliability is just not there, so why gamble on the Elantra? Also, the 10 year/100,000 mile Hyundai warranty only applies to the original owner so you can’t depend on that.

My aunt switched her 2006 Honda civic to a 2010 Elantra and was not happy about it at all.
Keep the Toyota, Reliability is Toyoters and Honders! If you want something even more reliable, save up for the Lexis is250 or 350

Oh my...
"ritual suicide by disembowelment with a sword, formerly practiced by samurai as an honorable alternative to execution"
transliteration?
ritual financial suicide by Hyundai purchase, formerly and presently praticed by Americans as an honorable way to get Apple carplay as an alternative for reliable transportation
One word: NOO
Keep driving that Camry till the wheels fall off, they can last a long time. A Hyundai Elantra is good until it reaches 90-100k miles because they fall apart and they are just not well-made cars. I would run away from that Elantra.
