2013 camry se with 56K miles

I just bought this Camry, hated to pay the price but based on your recommendations, I went with it (15,500 out the door). I'm 65 and have to do grocery runs and other assorted errands. I expect to drive it for the next 25 years, is this realistic?

Whether the Camry will still be operational in another 25 years would be as difficult to prognosticate as whether you will still be driving at age ninety.🤔

It depends how it was driven and maintained by previous owners

Did you have it inspected before you bought it?

Low mileage indicates it sat a lot, which isn't the best thing for a car.

Does yours have the inline-4 engine, or V6?

I think 25 years is asking a lot , but the bottom line is, take the best care of it that you can and you stand the best chance.

Possible but not likely. Even assuming it holds up mechanically the advanced electronics found in modern vehicle are problematical as they age. Most cars, even well-made ones, just aren't going to last that long.

In particular note that 4-cylinder Camrys of that time period are prone to transmission problems, specifically torque converter failure. (You did not specify whether you have a 4 or 6 cylinder engine.)

Well I've seen 25+ year old Camrys down the road and still going strong even with over 300,000 miles.

If it's taken care of and maintained it, it can last a long time as long change the engine oil and transmission fluid regularly but just realize with these modern cars as they age, their electronics can become problematic.

IMHO, it can most likely make it 25 years from new, if taken care of. But 25 years from now? That’s kinda pushing it. But who knows!

See an indication, his dizzyness has already entered the room. 😎

When I'm doing my calculation right, 65 + 25 = 90.

Do you have written proof of the Lord, he promised you you will get that age??

Take my words: long before that you will be so dizzy in your head, you will no longer care about Toyotas, cars, grocery or many other things at all.

Up to driving: you will not drive but be driven in a chair, on a bed, or worse....
