I am looking for a car to do Uber for a year or two, then sell it or donate it. Is a Ford C-Max Hybrid automatic with 121.500 miles worth considering? Looks clean. I haven't seen it in person yet. Is it worth looking at? Asking $$5700

Service history required I'd say. If it's only for a year or two then I'd say you'd be okay. Battery's according to a Google are suppose to be changed out at 80k for this car so see for that as well. And then of course the basics, talk price down for any reason, Be it a tear in a seat or scratches on the bumper etc. Check it out or bring it to a Independent tech and see service history if from a private party. If from dealer then I'd say fresh out of luck and steer clear
After checking how uber has changed, seems not worth it. I would consider it to do PT , 4 hours a day for maybe 3 or 4 days a week. Wear and tear on car. Mileage, etc seems not really a good gig. Neighbor is doing it because needs the job. He puts $35/day in gas now for a car getting 30+mpg. Says can make $150 mornings in 3 or 4 hours. Then will do afternoon later. Too many miles, too much gas $ to make it worth it. Has to hustle away from other drivers and there are a lot these days.
