2013 Honda insight Hybrid

Insight has an about 123,000 miles on it. Car won’t respond to P,R,N,D. It accelerates on its own even in P. I know it’s the transmission cause it’s know to fail so quickly on this particular model. I look online and all found was recalls for air bags and oil consumption.

Isn’t there recalls for their cvt transmission in general? I also, know that mechanics know that there’s ways to have the company replace the transmission at no cost one time. How does one do it?

Well, unfortunately I never seen anybody get a CVT transmission. Replace free by Honda. And with that age and mileage identified is going to do anything at all. A big reason I'm not a fan of CVT transmissions. They don't hold up like normal ones do
