What’s your thoughts on the 2013 Honda Pilot Touring? I’m considering one with 108,000 miles from CARMAX in VERY GOOD condition. I found the dealer that did all the service since the car was new and they sent me the entire service history. It was seemingly very well taken care of. Regular oil changes and always up to date scheduled maintenance. Only things that seems to have failed was a vtec pump that was immediately replaced.
I saw scottys video about using a multi meter to test relative valve pressure and fuel pump. I may be able to borrow what’s needed to dj this from a friend.
Anyway. What’s your thoughts on this potential purchase?

Hondas been great at making small cars but their bigger cars and vans and stuff aren't as reliable as the Sedans and stuff. Seems like the car was well taken care of but before you buy have a mechanic you trust check it out first just to be sure.
Right around that mileage people dump these cars because they dont want to spend money and time doing the major timing belt service. Check if it has been done or not.
At that mileage and age, dealer full retail value is about $12,000.00 USD, private party about $7,000.00 - $9,500.00. Anything above those numbers they're ripping you off.
How much do they want ?
BTW: Belt change should have happened at 100K or before, very important ! Was it done ?? Otherwise, hard to service the V6 engine.
