How do I fix the P1326 trouble code I caused on my friends car

Hi Scotty,

My friend’s 2013 Hyundai Tucson (76800 miles) has P1326 with the check engine light flashing. It came on after I was doing about 80mph from 60 mph. I was in 80 mph range for only about 2 minutes or so. How do I fix it? Is the code a cause for concern? It seemed to have stalled at one point.

Thank you.

Knock sensor system has a fault and the engine is in limp home mode. Check engine light flashing means "stop driving until this is fixed". (Without knock detection the engine can experience severe damage.)

Which engine in this car please?

Also what grade of gasoline was in the tank?

Have a deep scan done to see if the ignition timing is way off, or, like @mmj said, maybe stale or cheap fuel.
