My ac was working fine until 2 days ago. It was blowing cool air and all of a sudden it started blowing hot air. I have been trying to test it myself. I can't find the fuse or relay to see if the fuse blew. Where would these be located?
Thank you in advance
Please save yourself a major headache. Take it to an automotive ac specialty shop. Unless you have all the special tools and extensive knowledge and experience, this is not a DIY type of job.
I probably would take it to a shop but I haven't had much work lately and don't have the money.
Sorry, maybe a forum member can help you out with this.
the fuse for that would be in the ipdm which is under the hood possibly by the battery on that vehicle. I would see if you see any signs of leaks or dye. Most likely the compressor has failed or Freon is too low to activate the compressor clutch
Once you determine that the fuse and relay are OK you should check pressure in the AC system to see if it's so low that the compressor won't engage. (Typically the low pressure cutoff needs to see at least somewhere between 10-20 psi to enable the compressor.) You may be able to borrow a manifold gauge set from a place like Autozone if you don't want to buy one. Avoid the temptation to use a so-called "recharge can" which has a cheap and nearly useless low side gauge and may contain damaging sealers.

Thank you for the link. It's still pretty vague. I found the fuse for the ac relay but not where the ac relay actually is located. Nothing is marked ac relay.
