Should I buy this Jetta

Hey Scott,

I’m looking to get a reliable commuter car. My job is 100km away from home so 200km round trip.

I’ve been looking at the TDI for a potential of 1000km per tank of gas.
What are your thoughts on a used 2013 Volkswagen Jetta TDI or should I be looking at something like a Civic or Corolla instead?

Well the diesel engine are probably the only best reliable part for this car, but the rest of the car are meh, they're just typical Volkswagen product turn to a money pit as they age but a Civic or Corolla is even much better choice if you want to last absolute longest, gets good gas mileage, and they're inexpensive to maintain.
