2013 Kia Optima EX GDI - Any reservations about buying it?

My parents good friend is selling a 2013 Kia Optima EX GDI with 103K miles on it. Took it for a test drive and I enjoyed it for all the luxuries it has over my 2011 Impala (133k- MONEY PIT/gas guzzler). I did notice some light road noise coming from the front tires but thought it could just be the tires itself, hopefully not a bearing or anything.

KBB values it 8.5k to 10.5k private party. Would getting this for around 7k be a worthy buy/upgrade? I know nothing about Kias, but I’m tired of fixing my Impala. Thanks for any input on this.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Kia has gotten better, than the impala to say the least, older impalas are way cooler haha! Be sure to have a mechanic check out that road noise and any other potential issue that may not be visible on the surface, if everything checks out go for it! As for KBB don't believe everything they say, always see if you could haggle the price down if the car comes with issues, it isn't rude if it's true.

I've seen many KIA engines fail at around 100,000 miles. Timing issues resulting in destroyed engines.
