Scotty, I have a 2013 Lexus RX 350 with 129,000 miles. During the last oil change the Lexus mechanic identified below problems that cost lots of $ to fix:

1. Timing Cover Gasket: TIMING COVER IS LEAKING 9/10 ON SEVERITY SCALE, RECCOMEND RE-SEAL $4897

2. Axle Replace - Front: RIGHT FRONT AXLE LEAKING GREASE, UNABLE TO RE-BOOT,
RECCOMEND REPLACEMENT OF RIGHT FRONT AXLE $1871

3. *Engine Tune Up - Spark Plug Replacement: Spark Plugs - Replace - 6 Cylinder IF DONE WITH
TIMING COVER ONLY 0.2 HOURS OF LABOR NEEDED. $938

Along with some other small issues, the total cost to do all these is close to $9000. Is it worth spending $9000 to fix it considering the value of the vehicle is about this much according to KBB? Or should I trade it in to buy another vehicle? Thanks

Find a good independent mechanic and get a second opinion and a quote from him. The prices you were quoted are beyond ridiculous.
