2013 Suburban 5.3l low oil pressure

My Suburban has approximately 173000 miles and the oil pressure dropped and the engine is not running a different. When I start it the pressure comes up but slowly goes down. I changed the oil pressure sensor and no change. I wasn’t able to get the filter out that’s under the sensor but plan on getting it out and new one in. Is there something else that could be wrong? I have seen that guys flush the engine had luck with that. The other thing I came across was changing the Cylinder Deactivation Manifold. I just had the transmission replaced at 171800 now I’m not sure which way to turn. Can you please give me some ideas on what could going on?

Confirm oil pressure with a mechanical test gauge.

@chucktobias That was another thing I was planning to do also.

@dougk Dash oil pressure gauges can be pretty unreliable so if there's any question about an engine having correct oil pressure it's always best to check it with a mechanical gauge.
