I have a 2013 RAV4 Limited with 165,000 miles on it. I love it and had hoped to run it until 300-400k. However, it was involved in a rear-end collision in 2014 (yes, less than a year after I bought it). Repair costs were $14,000.
The car runs great but I’m concerned about its long-term reliability due to the collision. The only current problem is am electronic door lock mechanism that broke (so I just have to lock and unlock that door manually) and occasionally it does make some noises that no one can seem to identify.
My two options are: (1) sell or trade it in while I can still get some money for it (and I’d like something bigger, or (2) just run it as long as I can and see if I can get to 300k or more.
What is the likelihood that it will last me another 5-10 years?

Ten years later I would think that any bad effects from the accident post-repair would have already made themselves known.

You'd need a working crystal ball for that, mine is out for repairs.
