Hi Guys,
Quick question, I purchased a 2014 Audi A5 from an Audi dealership. At the time of sale, car had 44,000 miles. At 60,000 miles the engine had a major engine failure. Piston ring issue issues caused by excessive oil consumption.
Dealer refused to help, Audi USA was a waste of time. Cost of repair $6,000. In Massachusetts one had to send a demand letter to either the manufacturer and or dealer.
The 2013 models and earlier were covered for the above through a class action law suit. The 2014 model Audi A5 has several class action suits in process.
I’ve reviewed the consumer protection laws in MA. However defective parts & product liability claims have been successful as well.
Being logical suing in small claims maybe a better option. Had anyone gone through anything like this .

You can give it a try but realize the company like Audi they can counter sue you after small claims then you got to hire a lawyer gets to be a headache and generally they won't pay for anything it's pretty much a scumbag company when it comes to warranty work
