Hi,

I indeed have tov replace my air compressor due to a bad clutch. Its almost 13 years old. I have a couple of options: 1) Nissens new from Rockauto or 2) Aisin remanufactured. Denso is out of my price range. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Rebuilt compressors have a terrible reputation. Stick with new.

I ended up purchasing a new Aisin air compressor through Amazon. A lot of folks recommended the Nissens though. Ive heard good things about Aisin products outside their CVT transmissions.

@joeo Be aware that a lot of counterfeit products are sold on Amazon.

I ordered a brand-new AC-DELCO brake master cylinder for my '79 Pontiac. It held pressure three times, then my foot went flat to the floor again. Lucky the car was still parked. Amazon delivery drivers don't tend to care what's in those packages.
