2014 chevy captiva 127,000 miles
I have a 2014 chevy captiva and it runs rough when in drive and stopped almost like its going to die..but if i put it in neutral it runs smooth as hell...but with my foot on break in drive or reverse it idles bad. there is no check engine light on or any codes..i cant seem to diagnose this one..anyone have any ideas? Thanks
I have a 2014 Captiva w/ 74,000. Had almost same issue however my engine light came on. The code was Intake and exhaust solenoid values. Under $50 for both. I would also swith out the Throttle Body Assembly with sensor as well. Under $100 for Genuine GM. Both fixes are very easy to do. Lots of YouTube videos on both fixes.
Now my engine light comes on only when I idle with the AC running for a long period of time. Then it goes off in a day or so. 😆
While I like the Captiva's size and look, I can tell after owning it a while it's not going to be a 250,000 mile vehicle. I picked it up 6 months ago with just over 69,000 miles. Paid almost $8000 for it. Good deal for a decent looking SUV. I'll drive it until it starts to cost me real money. 😆
Nothing better than not having a car payment.!!!!
