Hello,
I came home from a business trip on a particularly cold night (-20 F). When I tried to start the truck the next morning it would only crank and not start. My vehicle is a 2014 Ford F150 with the 3.7L motor, 4x4, regular cab, 34000mi.
I checked the battery, it is 12.8V charged, terminals not not dirty.
I tested the block heater with a "Kill A Watt" meter and it was drawing 340W.
I tested the fuel pump relay #8, it clicks and closes like it should.
I checked the fuel pump fuse #27, it is not damaged in any way.
The check engine light does not come on.
Any recommendations?
