2014 Ford Explorer Sport 4x4. 100k miles purchased at 70k. Want to do transmission drain/flush. Currently shifts great, just want to do maintenance. I read filter is not usually changed unless transmission is bad and needs rebuild. My question is would you recommend drain/refill or flush and is what I'm reading about filter inside transmission not recommended to change correct? Love your site!!!!

Change it at your own risk because there is no direct result on what happens after you change the fluid.

I would drop the pan and change the filter, then refill with proper fluid. No flush.
