i have a 2014 Gmc terrain , I just used it yesterday but this morning i tried remote starting it , it didn’t work , tried cranking it with the key it didnt work , i tried boosting the battery and it worked, few hours later i tried starting it again with the remote but didnt start but it started with the key , it’s kinda weird .i am from canada , should i replace the battery? Thanks
1. Have your battery tested at the parts store
2. Have them test it with the car running. It should be getting 14 V. If it is not getting charged, your alternator is bad
did you let it charge up after you got it started?

Yes i did charge up because i drove about 30 mins in a 100kph highway. ever since i bought this in 2015 havent changed any major in here except for alignment and regular oil chage and transmission oil changed

ok 6 years is around the life expectancy of car batteries. Most battery dealers can test the battery and alternator for you. Heck maybe they can test if you have a parasitic drain too.

Replace your remote battery.
Hello Yes I did chaged the remote battery but it happened the same thing .
So either your remote is on its way out or the receiver in your car is not functioning properly.
hello thanks for that . so i tried it again after 24 hours of not using it . remote starter didnt work but it works if im unlocking or locking it in . so i tried starting it with the key works fine . its kinda weird tik noise after i turn off the engine and locked it . i have a video not sure if this would work
