You did not mention whether your car has a manual or automatic transmission.
Can you please make a YouTube video of your problem/noise and post the link here?
Pray that your low on fluid because of not odds are your transmission is gone out. Now once in a blue moon the transmission control module could go bad and do that so you might want an actual pro to check that out if the fluid is full before you replace that super expensive transmission
If it's a manual, your throwout bearing is probably shot.
