I would like to downgrade from a 2018 Hyundai Tucson to a 63k miles 2014 Honda CR-Z EX because I'm paying too much on my Hyundai which is financed. Would it be a good choice?
Are you sure you want to buy a hybrid from Honda?
Scotty has given the world plenty of advice why it isn’t a hot idea to buy a old hybrid (more so since it isn’t a Toyota hybrid).
Does it have to be a hybrid and if yes, does it have to be a Honda hybrid?
I don’t think that’s a wise choice.
@inthrustwetrust
I understand. What would you advice to downgrade? Looking for something around $12k.

Do you want something Tucson sized or CR-Z sized?
@inthrustwetrust
It doesn't matter.

I’d recommend a Corolla or Civic (non turbo). You should get a great example within $10,000. Just make sure you get the car checked by an honest mechanic before you buy it. Good luck!
Not a good choice.
For your budget, you have many options. Toyota, honda, lexus, acura, etc. If you just need something to get around in, get a 2013 or earlier civic or corolla.
Can you drive a manuel transmission? I would avoid sport Honda's with CVT's especially from the 2013-2015 gen.
Id pass on the CRZ, its a hybrid too many electronics, battery cost 4k for new one AND its paired with CVT. you wont be happy in the long run.
Look for a used Honda CRV pre 2014 with 5 sped auto preferably low miles
