2014 Honda CRV - Replacement Headlight Fixture and LED Upgrade Recommendations.

Hey Scotty,

I've been watching your YouTube Channel for over a year now and I like the way you think.

I've started to research replacement headlight fixtures for my 2014 CRV.  I've searched a little at your videos for recommendations, but haven't really found any yet.  That aftermarket world is huge.  I'm willing to spend the money on good quality, but just don't know which option (website) is the best to look at.

While I'm at it, I'm also considering upgrading to LEDs.  I see you've recommended Boslla and Auxito brands.  But after that I don't know what I should be looking for.  I've looked at other YouTube videos too, and the selection is huge here too.  I looked at the current headlight assemblies under the hood and the driver's side seems to have less room than the passenger's side; for the current halogen bulb fixture.  Also, do these LED upgrades work fine with the daylight driving mode?

Any referrals would be appreciated.

Dennis

What’s wrong with your present headlight assemblies? Is the plastic faded yellow?

Well, the LEDs will not work with daylight running lamps in most vehicles because the daylight running lamps generally work at a lower voltage and the LEDs do not. I don't give a crap about those systems. I turn mine off of my cars anyways and use LEDs that I like and I like those bosillas. As her headlight assemblies, I actually do a lot of research whenever I buy one on Amazon and generally find the ones that cost more are much better quality than cheap little $670 ones

I tried a Sylvania repair kit on the original headlights a little over a year ago, didn't do a very good job on it, and now they look worse than before (yes, they were yellow and faded over a year ago).  I hadn't seen Scotty's video about Plexus until recently either.  Not sure if that would have made it last longer or not.

Try something like this - https://www.ebay.com/itm/284226736705

Then use Plexus on it, regularly.

PS. Look around the internet for cheaper options (if available). And ask around car accessory shops if they can instal it for you.
