I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited (3.6 engine). Sometimes (not always) when I turn the key to the start position the entire system dies. I lose all power. At the on position all lights and dash indicators come on. When I turn to start and everything dies. Typically I can wait a second or two, cycle the key from start to off, then repeat the starting process and the car will start. If I start the car with the remote start I haven't seen this problem. Another symptom (again infrequent) is that while driving, I will get a ding. Sometimes it's just a ding but other times the ding will be followed various dash lights illuminating. It lasts only a second and goes away. I do not lose power or engine. Battery terminals are tight. I cannot find a lose ground (maybe I'm missing one). I'm suspecting ignition switch, relay or ground. Any suggestions are appreciated.
