Jetta is making a thumping noise when I turn it at low speeds. A video of it when I’m getting out of a parking spot can be found here for reference. What could be causing this sound?

With a clunk that loud I'd suspect the rear bushing on one or both of the lower control arms is shot.
You can jack up the front of the car, grab the tire at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions and as you try to move the tire from side to side you'll see the entire lower control arm moving if the bushing is worn out.

They're cheap enough. You can get a set of lower control arms (to do both sides) for around $100

You've got some worn out steering or suspension parts. Sounds bad. Get it looked at ASAP.
