Hey everyone, I'd like your thoughts on welding a broken exhaust flange on a vehicle with computers? My Titan (most have manifold cracks) has a flange on the bottom of the manifold (manifold includes the 1st cat on it) going to the 2nd cat pipe. The flange's weld broke that holds the flange to the manifold pipe. To take the manifold off is a big job and I'd love to just weld it on the truck, however I've never welded on something with computers. I've read other post throughout the internet and can't get a straight answer. Anyone here with experience with this??

If you do it always disconnect the battery and unplug the ecm if you can. But forewarned welding that metal won’t hold for long not to mention it’s an extremely tight fit and removal would probably be required anyways in order to do it
