I have a 2015 Acura MDX. While driving at lower speeds (30-50mph) and typically in lower gears, the engine hesitates or flutters. I see this in the tachometer which flutters up and down and feel it in the engine which stutters while accelerating. My mechanic replaced the spark plugs, but no help. Then he found a TSB (16-062) stating it's transmission fluid deterioration but that there is a software update that can be completed by the dealer to better maintain the transmission fluid temp to eliminate this problem. Took it in to the dealer, they performed the software update, and was better for a day or so. But then the problem was right back again with no improvement.
What has been the service history of this transmission over the last 7 years? What is the mileage?
Mileage is 120K now, but was 95K when it started doing this. Can't remember any specific transmission probs/work in past save the recommended maintenance. Thanks
