Hey Scotty,

I have 2015 altima with 171,000 miles and my car isn't blowing cold air since 100,000 miles. I diagnosed the A/C compressor and still works with no leak to be found. It is common on this Gen. Altima's. What you think?

I maintain my Altima regularly and never broke down except the CVT kinda lags and it's the original one. Surprised this car never left me stranded😭💀😂😂

What kind of diagnostics have been performed?

Regular A/C repair shop

He was testing the compressor and he also said he checked the filters. They still new and also, no A/C leak been detected

Without knowing details about what the shop did or even what the system pressures are it's really tough to say what might be going on.

I heard from some Altima owners it might be compressor valve issue. What you think?

If that's the case it should show up as bad pressure readings.

Yeah, it did

My take will be to check some wires by the radiator, those connect to the AC and it got resolved and got my AC working again.

Source: I found out that trick in my Nissan Altima too
